1. Information You Provide
Subscription Data- Subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, and payment dates
- Categories and custom notes you assign to subscriptions
- Reminders and notification preferences
- All subscription data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
2. Automatically Collected Information
Analytics Data (via Firebase Analytics)- Device information (model, operating system version, unique device identifiers)
- App usage patterns (screens viewed, features used, session duration)
- App lifecycle events (app opens, foreground/background transitions)
- Interaction events (buttons clicked, navigation patterns)
- IP address (temporarily, for analytics)
- App version and build number
- Anonymous diagnostic and usage events are always collected to maintain app reliability and improve the experience
- Android Advertising ID and iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) (for serving personalized ads via Google Mobile Ads)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
3. Information from Third Parties
Service Logos- When you add a subscription, we may fetch company logos from public sources to enhance your experience
- This involves sending HTTP requests to favicon/logo services (Google S2 and DuckDuckGo Icons)
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
- App Functionality: Storing and managing your subscription data locally, calculating totals, sending reminder notifications, and providing subscription tracking features.
- Analytics and Improvements: Collecting anonymous usage events to understand how users interact with the App, identify bugs, and improve performance. Analytics is always active.
- Advertising: Displaying relevant ads through Google Mobile Ads and measuring ad effectiveness.
- Premium Features: Processing in-app purchases through Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase, unlocking one-time Remove Ads purchase benefits, and providing access to future premium features as they become available.
Data Storage and Security
- Your subscription data is stored locally on your device using platform-specific storage mechanisms
- We do not store your subscription data on remote servers
- Data persists until you uninstall the app or clear app data
- Data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
- We follow industry-standard security practices
- However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
Google Firebase Analytics
- Purpose: Anonymous usage analytics (always active)
- Data Collected: Device info, usage patterns, lifecycle events

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
- Purpose: Serving advertisements
- Data Collected: Android Advertising ID, iOS IDFA, IP address, device information, ad interaction data
- EEA/UK Consent: Users in the European Economic Area and UK are asked for consent before personalized advertising is enabled.

Website Cookies and Tracking
- The landing website does not use first-party analytics, advertising, or profiling cookies at this time.
- We do not run web tracking scripts such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools on the website.
- When website assets are loaded from third-party providers (for example, app store badges, fonts, or external links), those providers may receive technical request data such as IP address and user-agent.
Future Changes
- If non-essential cookies or web trackers are introduced in the future, we will update this policy before activation.
- For users in the EEA/UK, required consent controls will be presented before non-essential cookies are set, in line with GDPR/ePrivacy requirements.

Data Access and Deletion
- Access: Your subscription data is accessible within the App
- Deletion: Delete individual subscriptions or uninstall the App to remove all data
- Export: Currently not available (local storage only)
Ad Personalization Opt-Out
Anonymous analytics are always collected and ads are always shown (unless you purchase Premium). You can opt out of ad personalization only:
- In-App (all platforms): Settings > Privacy & Legal > Review GDPR Consent
- iOS (IDFA): From Review GDPR Consent, choose non-personalized ads and/or manage tracking in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Android: From Review GDPR Consent, choose non-personalized ads
Review GDPR Consent (In-App)
You can review or change your GDPR advertising consent at any time from the app:
- Path: Settings > Privacy & Legal > Review GDPR Consent
- Accept Personalized Ads: Enables interest-based ads (and on iOS requires ATT authorization)
- Non-Personalized Only: Keeps ads generic
The App does not collect location data.
Children's Privacy
The App is available to a general audience and has no fixed minimum-age restriction. We do not knowingly collect additional personal data from minors beyond the data processing described in this policy. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a minor has provided personal information in a way that should be removed, contact us and we will review and process the request.
International Users
GDPR (European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR:

CCPA (California Residents)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected
- Know whether personal information is sold or disclosed
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Request deletion of personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
- Identifiers (device ID, advertising ID)
- Internet/network activity (app usage, analytics)
- Commercial information (in-app purchases)
Data Retention
- Subscription Data: Retained locally until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase according to their retention policies (typically 2–14 months)
- Ad Data: Retained by Google Ads according to their policies
Consent and Data Collection
- Anonymous analytics (Firebase) are always collected to maintain app reliability and improve the experience.
- Ads are always displayed for free-tier users (purchase Premium to remove them).
- You can choose whether ads are personalized to your interests or generic. On iOS this is additionally constrained by the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) status.
- You can reopen and update this choice anytime via Settings > Privacy & Legal > Review GDPR Consent.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Displaying an in-app notification
- Requiring re-consent if legally required
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
